    A psychiatrist is a specialist, the only way to see one is to be referred from GP.

    If your current GP isn't sympathetic and won't refer you, try another GP.

    None of the HSE consultant psychiatrists in galway do private work. See your GP to get a referral to the consultant assigned to your area. If you are in crisis go to A and E for an immediate referral.
