Now that I have jumped right in to the world of vaping with my new iStick 20w and Nautilus Mini I would have thought that by now I was at least at the intermediate level of vaping, but no, the reviews of this device tell me that it is great for a starter...

So what devices do the truly advanced vapourers (vapists:confused:?) use?

I guess rebuilding a dual coil dripper is advanced, but if it works for you, then It's all good.

On a scale of one to ten with one being a VIP starter kit, I'd say you are on about a six

LOL That's more of a fashion statement.

Start with a rebuildable RTA making your own coils/wicks.

    Mix your own juice.

Try out a mech mod, you need to learn a bit about Ohm's law for this to get the most out of it and be safe. That pic is basically a fancy steampunk style mech mod.

From what I can gather this guy makes them from old gas valves or something.

Here's his video, but it's all in French https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Bzdv6grgFE

Cheers 8mm and Fratton Fred, I've just looked into this and I'm gonna buy some wicks and recoil my heads when I need to, then I'll be well on my way to becoming an advanced vapist;)

Just a word of warning about "advanced" vaping. It could cost you as much as smoking did.

And everything you have ever loved in life or possess has a twinge of vanilla off it.

    Screws will be everywhere

Pieces of cotton will end up in places you've never dreamed of.

Bits of wire will stick into your bare feet when you walk into your rebuilding room.

You'll go to pay for something and mixed up in your change will be the base of an Atty.

Your wife might leave you because the kitchen roll budget has gone far too high.

Are you sure you're ready for this extreme commitment?

In the beginning you'll spend a bit but long term you will save a fortune, probably go through 15-20ml of juice per day because I only sub ohm, I just couldn't justify buying liquid, last 1 litre bottle I mixed only cost me 15 quid because I bought a load of capella concentrate at vape escapes closing sale

Well I've jumped in and ordered some pre wrapped (I'll wrap my own one day) 2.5ohm silica wicks!

Just a word of warning, usually the end up being wrapped as if the were done by the blind, I'd order a load of kanthal too and jump straight in if I were you

Ah well we'll see. I suppose I can always rewind them myself if they're in too much of a mess.
