    Hi all
This is probably a long shot but I'm trying to find breeding close to my springer who died on Monday. He was a cracking dog and I might have access to a bitch pup of his and I'm looking for a suitable stud.
He was born on 19th Dec 2005 out of kengal Evan and Millrow teal , in donegal.
On the sires side there is
Grandparents..largybeg gilpin and iroko mac jade.
    greatparents
gorsty Gilpin and nan carrow crests and birdrowe butch and birdrowe Zoe of ballyutoag.
Sorry about the long winded post but he was a brilliant dog and I want to see if I can keep the breeding as strong as possible.
I have been talking to his breeder and he is also on the lookout
    Thank you

Unfortunately brieny you are on a hiding to nothing in your pursuit of such a pedigree, the pedigree you are after will after ten years be diluted to the point where it wouldn't even be a shadow of what you want. How do I know this?I had exactly the same experience with a dog of my own.

    Thanks hathcock.
I know twas a long shot but worth a try.. really missed him on Sunday. He was a serious dog. Do you mind me asking how close your breeding was to my fella.
Were you able to find anything to replace your lad

The breeding line was completely different, the point I was making was the passage of time is against you.

Do know of a cracking Birdrowe dog here in Cork, my own lady had 5 of his pups 5 weeks ago, nice solid pups. Beautiful dog and brilliant hunting dog.
