10 Year Olds teeth!

Hi all, I would appreciate a little advice regarding my 10 year old girls teeth please. The front two top teeth are coming down very crooked, almost angled to a 'v', she has lost only 8 teeth (which is the same number as her 6 year old sister!), I do understand they lose them at different ages etc but she is certainly way behind her class mates in terms of the number of adult teeth coming through. My main concern is that I do everything possible to help along the way regarding the dental treatment as there will certainly need to be intervention with braces etc over the coming years. The dentist that we use is nice enough, seems to put the kids at ease etc but I just need assurance that we are getting the best possible advice on a child of this age. He has now agreed to see her every 6 months at this stage to keep an eye, there is an orthodontist that visits his surgery whom we saw back in December last year who was very dismissive to her due to her age. He didn't fill me with confidence as his own teeth were in a state, something that my daughter actually picked up on! So basically what I'm asking is can anybody give any recommendations of good dentists (via PM please) in the Dublin 15 area who would be very good with children or should I be arranging an orthodontist visit myself?, do orthodontists only intervene when the child has lost all of their milk teeth? Thank you!!
