Getting a copy of a will

I'm looking to get a copy of a deceased relatives will. I'm named as a beneficiary in the will. I've checked in the probate office in Dublin but they do not have any record.
Is it possible that it is stored in a district court house?

Do you know if the will has been admitted to probate?

No I have no idea. It's been over 2 years since my relative died so there's a reasonable chance it is.

My main question is could a will be held in a circuit office and not in the main probate office in Dublin?

The Probate Office holds records of all grants of probate through the district registries, so even if the grant was taken out on of the District Registries, the Probate Office records would show it. (Plus, the application should only have been taken out in one of the District Registries if the deceased ordinarily resided in that District. Did they?)

The likelihood is that no grant of probate has been taken out.
