apple tv2 won't stream

    ok lads , have the above , had kodi put on it last year.
    worked perfect. had it turned off for a while and when i tried to stream a movie i only get audio (from iPad/iphone on 9.0.2), i have restarted it on numerous occasions without any luck.
    i can mirror from my mac to tv, but the video stream just won't do it from devices.
    any other suggestions?
