Just registered with this board as it looks a decent online community. Cant find an introductory area so thought I would post a thread. Started running late in life 44) after a life time of football and cycling but only for leisure. Have run the DCM for the last 8 years and am currently on a little R&R after running a PB for 2015 this past Monday.
Train mostly in the Phoenix Park on my own with a Garmin to run against. Look forward to helping and been helped over the months and years a head.
    Thanks...

Well after a days R&R, I went back out for a run yesterday. As I am staying in the Glenview hotel, I thought I would do a nice 10K run in the area. Started out from the hotel and ran along by the N11 north bound. At about 5k I had a fairly steep climb (200) meters over the next 2K. It wasn't pretty, I can tell you....

However as I turned left at the top of the hill, I had a nice gentle flat along by the Sugar Loaf and then a steep run back down to the hotel. Felt better for it or more likely the thought of getting back into the sauna, Jacuzzi and swimming pool to be honest.

So back into it and looking forward to the Clontarf half in November...

    Hi FF,

There's a sub forum where you can start a log http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1139

People use it to track their training and sometimes people pop into the thread to offer advice etc.
