Thunderbolt display to PC

I've a 27 inch Thunderbolt Display at home which I use for work.

I'd love to use it for gaming on the PC, but I'm not sure if that's possible?

My graphics card has a mini display port, HDMI, and DVI ports.

Thunderbolt to the mini display port doesn't work, and I can't find an adapter to get it to work with the HDMI or DVI - so I'm starting to think I'm out of luck.

Googling around for an answer doesn't give me any definitive result as to whether I can or not.

    Any ideas?

Does your motherboard have a thunderbolt port or thunderbolt headers?

    Nope, neither.

It will only work with Thunderbolt outputs. Which nobody has really bothered with outside of Apple.

Yeah you're pretty much screwed then. No way of doing it without massive expense

If your motherboard had a thunderbolt port you could use lucid MVP software to allow use of the discrete GPU via the TB port.
