PP Change Of Use from Creche to Live/Work Unit

    Hi,

Taking into account this would be a cash purchase and no mortgage required what are the chances of getting a change of use permission from Creche to a Live/Work Unit? Work unit would be a gallery/shop/workshop to the front on the street with living to the rear, no street. There are separate entrances and is dual aspect. This will not be used as a primary home but a place for visiting artists and designers to stay and work in.

The unit is in Dublin, zoned 4 and is ground floor in a block of flats and there are 2 Creches already nearby. Shops currently exist in the other 3 units.

    Thanks

Could be possible depending on layout, design and location.

Have a look at the live work units that were approved in the Belmayne Scheme to give you guidance and some form of what DCC have already allowed with regards to these units.

A fire cert and DAC may also be required if granted.

Thanks for the reply Kceire. I will check out what you have suggested and work from there.
