Hi, does anyone know what your driver licence number is? I am filling in a form where I have to write in my driver licence serial number.

The only two numbers on my licence are

    1) driver number 76879xxxx

    2) stock number B 879xxxx

    +1

The nine digit number is your driver number. This is like your identity number and will (well, should) never change even if you get new permits for new categories, these will always have the same driver number.

The only 'Stock Number' is unique to that particular hard licence. If you lose your licence and apply for a replacement, or if you simply renew your licence, the new stock item will have a new, unique stock number. I think that this is the equivalent of a 'serial number'.
