Hey all, just looking for some help in identifying this flower. It was on a lawn along with daisies. The lawn in a park and well kept so there were no large plants present.

    I have checked irishflowers.ie but I couldn't find a match.

The flower is much smaller than any clemantis I have seen, it was also growing in the ground, there were plenty of them all over the lawn.

Do you have any pictures that would give a better idea of foliage and size?

This was last May? It's a Clematis montana variety.

Did you post the wrong photo ...

No, it cant be a colchicum as it only has four petals. It does indeed look like a clematis.

Ok, I made a boo boo. It is indeed a Clematis. I have about 10 pictures I took the same day and 8 of them are from the local park. I now remember taking a picture of the Clematis in the back garden. Sorry about that. Thanks for the help and jogging my memory :)
