    Calls like that (as it happened I was at the one mentioned above) are definitely one of the toughest parts of the job.

    But at the same time when you see 30+ people from multiple agencies working absolutely 100% flat out in an effort to save lives, you also see the best parts of it - the teamwork, the commitment and the skills. The situation is awful - but you also realise you were part of a huge team effort which contributed to giving all those present the best possible chance.
