Upgrading from Istick 30w!

2 Istick 30w's for the past year and I absolutely love them but I'm looking to branch out a bit. I get a day and a bit on each but are slowly loosing power Looking for something with a bit more battery life and power!

Have my eye on the Istick 100w but I would prefer something that has a built in battery just because I'm a lazy huar :P

Any ideas/suggestions welcome

The istick 50w sounds like it'd suit your situation perfectly. I have an Evic Mini and like it but you have to use your own batteries

got a Joyetech eVic VT last week, can't fault it for battery life @5000mA

Only used it on Power mode, so can't comment on the temperature control until I get my nickel coils

No complaints, it's a big upgrade from the iStick 50w \ 30w which I had previously

I was looking at the eVic VT also, what 18650 batteries are you using? I think I might go for the eVic or Istick 100W, pending change

the VT has non removable batteries

the Mini has the removeable battery compartment afaik

You might look at the iStick 40w (TC).
Yes its temp control, but you can use it as normal also.
Battery life is very poor in TC mode (1 day maybe), but apparently its fine in normal power mode.
Battery life in any device is a piece of string though depending on your usage, your power setting, the resistance of the atomiser....
What I like about it is thats its as small as the 30w, the 50w is much bigger.
That would be my reccy for a built in battery mod.
If you switch to a removable battery mod, good lord the choice is silly but you won't go wrong with a Cloupor Mini 30w.
I have 4 of them and they are reliable as fk.

Cloupor Mini Plus is out now and is the same size as the 30w but goes to 50w and has temp control for both nickel and titanium. Only a tenner more than the 30w too.

I've only met 2 people who have the istick 40w TC and they both said the battery life is awful in all modes. Much worse than the 30w because of something to do with the safety cutoff being set much higher than the 30w and 50w, so it essentially stops working while still holding more mahs than its brothers and sisters.

Yeah I'm looking at the mini plus. I love the 30w, its just great and simple, which is why I'd reccommend it to anyone looking for a small uncomplicated device.

Nitecore chargers are very good.

Nice one, I'll be placing an order this weekend so I think the one I'm looking at is a tad cheaper it's the Nitecore UM20 - 16 snots on the best shop. Probably not as good as the one you linked but I might give it a go!

I'm only buying in bulk from fasttech - wouldn't want to be relying on their delivery

In case you might have missed it - you get 2 Samsung high amp 18650 batteries included at that price and the charger shows lots of details about the state of the battery.

My last order with Fasttech was 2 weeks, freepost using the Sweden Post option. I put lots of small orders through them to avoid notice by customs.

2 weeks?? Sh!t I'll go with that then. I'll choose the Sweden Post this time and see what the craic is That's what I'm doing at the mo, once it's under 25 euro per order!

If you order something with batteries like that it would probably take about six months.

Your mileage might vary - allow 4 weeks at least and then be nicely surprised. My order previous to the 2 week one was delivered in 3 weeks and that was for batteries.

Yeah I'd reccommend two Samsung 25R batteries.
Great all round cells, safe and reliable. They are baby blue in colour and you shoul dget them for less than a tenner each.
The nitecore charger is great.

Don't be alarmed if they're not blue. The wrappings on them change sometimes. I've 5 that are definitely genuine and they're all green. Stick to buying from reputable vendors and you'll be fine, could always ask here if people are good to deal with because someone here will gave used them at some point.

Samsung 25R are blue and green. I use both myself the green ones are newer.

Oh yeah, I forgot the new stock is green, my bad.
The old stock should be cheaper to buy though.....
