    Just enquiring if anyone knows or has any information about the path to getting a job in Airport Policing?
    Im currently changing careers and looking to get into security and am currently doing a security course which I am getting my PSA licence after, Id love to work security in an airport afterwards or prefferably airport police but cant find any info on how or when they are recuited , can anyone provide insight into this?

    It's done through the dublin airport authority (who manage dublin and cork airports) and shannon airport authority for shannon. It's internal recruitment only - so you will need to be a daa staff member with minimum 12 months service to apply. Recruitment is currently open AFAIK, but this happens very rarely and after this I would not expect another for many years. Though if you really want it, where there's a will there's a way. Get yourself a job in the ASU, work hard, show initiative and get to know people. Next round you could be in with a chance.
