New driver where do I begin

Ok I fancy a new driver (I have an R11s T'S shaft). There are so many drivers on the market now it's ridiculous.
With CG forward CG back higher loft lower loft sliding weights and I haven't even started on shafts.
In order to know what type of head works best, there's a lot of testing to be done.
I tried the ping g30 LS in the Birr yesterday it's a cracking driver I felt so confident with it. I interchanged with my R11s I had the odd pull with the TM but the ping was a lot straighter but not necessarily any longer. Both clubs were 10.5 with ts shafts.
I would like to see if the R15 with the weight forward suits me unfortunately birr do taylormade demo clubs. Also I'd like to try the cobra fly z.
Anyone have any opinions on the R15 or fly z

Think you've answered your own question there.

Did you try it out on trackman yesterday? They usually have all taylormade drivers in birr and wil just stick tape over face if you want to try it out. If you want me to ask the lads in birr golf shop bout anything let me know :)

Same advice as for everyone; get yourself (i.e. your swing) tested by someone who knows what they are doing and has the equipment to do it. Trying them out on the course is very useful but nothing beats proper analysis. A good golf shop will do a decent job but if you really want to try out different options, Fore Golf at Killeen Castle have all the stuff.

No trackman just the range I just turned up asked about hitting a couple of drivers the Ping and R15. They had no fitting cart for TM and there was no R15 in the shop so fair enough.
They are a great bunch of lads in the shop friendly out.
I would like to organise a trackman comparison between the 3 drivers but it's a question of who has all 3 drivers plus the fitting carts. I want to see what set up I can get the most out of a driver.

Not sure if this is going to help or not.....

I don't think any modern driver will be particularly longer than any other, apart from being fit better.
Personally I'm using the G30, I got fitted for it by Ping around the turn of the year and I really like it. Forgiving, good feel and, for me, lower spinning than the previous G25.
I've not hit the R15 or the Fly Z drivers, but at a recent fitting for fairway woods, I hit the Fly Z 3 wood and much to my surprise, really liked it. Very solid feeling and sits really well behind the ball. How that correlates or not, to the driver, I've no idea.

I don't know of anywhere that has all three. Afaik, and I'm open to correction, Foregolf don't do Ping. At least they told me that when I had a fitting there in 2013, it might be different now.

They list Ping on their website.
