Just one for me today and it's a big price. Chestnut Charlie is a horse I've followed off a cliff in the past, and I have to say I'm surprised to see it going out today after over a year off the track and now being 13 years old. Horse has some ability and is lightly raced, now going off over an exceptionally low handicap rating. I have worries about the pilot and whether the old boy will still be up for the game at this age. This is a low-grade affair however, so if the horse is anywhere near its ability of old, it should be competitive and definitely worth an e/w punt.

Goes in the 2:20 and is 20/1.

Some nice types being unleashed today at Punchestown.

Tycoon Prince over hurdles, Sizing John and No More Heroes over fences.

Sizing John could be a real contender for the JLT in March and I've had a nibble at 16s, he's a lovely prospect and he's with the right man in De Bromhead for a career over fences.

I THINK Kevin Blake was on the Final Furlong and said de Bromhead was aiming him at the Arkle

Would be surprised if he wasn't tried over two and a half. I thought they might try and avoid Douvan. Anyway, that was a super round of jumping today.
