Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

    Hi all :)

I know that there are a lot of posts on this topic but I think the advice that I am looking for is slightly specific to me.

I am a 19 year old first year college student who is NOT studying French in any shape or form at the moment. I did French for the leaving and enjoyed it and I really want to work in France next summer to try and improve my French. My level of French is a reasonably high leaving cert standard, I got an A in the oral but that was with a fairly good degree of learning off and I certainly wouldn't have any slang!

    So I have two questions:

    1) What should I do between now and then in terms of trying to improve my French or am I best to just learn over there?

    2) What would people's advice be as regards a job? i.e. what type of work is best to get etc.

    Thanks! :D
