The previous owner/painter of our house had some serious vision issues judging the drips/splashes of paint ended up on things:

    - copper pipes
    - plastic pipes
    - wooden doors
    - pvc windows
    - tiles
    - laminate floors

Is there anything that I can use to remove this dried in overspray? I've managed to get some of it off with the paint scraper, but that's not successful in all places.

Is there anything I can use to soften the paint to remove it? Google is only pointing me towards paint stripper which seems overkill.

Methylated spirits will dissolve emulsion off doors pipes, floors etc. a blade for the tiles.

    Emulsion, gloss or varnish?

Seems to be wall emulsion mostly, with some gloss wood paint from the skirting on some parts.

Will pick some up and try that, cheers.

We had a similar thing in our rental - paint splotches everywhere! I happened to be cleaning the floors with a steam mop, a convertible one that also has attachments for spot cleaning. I tried the spot cleaning attachment and it loosened the paint splotches so they could just be wiped off. Works on tile, floorboards and such.
