eGo ONE Mega tank .........if you have one , what do you think of it ...specifically the taste factor . I just started using the one I got with the evic mini TC ( ni 200 coil ) and tbh I am finding the taste muted compared to the subtank .

I found that too, got one of the rebuildable coils and it's much better.

I found the flavour great at first but not so much now. I've abandoned the temp control for now and am using the subtank with kanthal mostly. I'm wondering is mine faulty and reading the ohms too low. I have to go to between 580 and 600f to get a vape as satisfying as 30w on my subtank. Is that normal?

NuttyBoy. Where did you get the CLR'S? I'm having trouble finding them from Irish vendors. All I can find is a pack of 5's on Fasttech and Gearbest. I thought I'd only need the one seeing as they're rebuildable.

Thank. I got the new RBA too. Good little yoke. Got the bell cap too which seems to have improved the flavour, strangely. Does my experience of TC with the Evic Mini match yours? What temps are you vaping at and what would you compare it to wattage wise on the subtank?

With mine I had to get the temp of the coil up before I locked it in , otherwise it wouldn't work , kept saying 'temp protect' . Once I got the temp up though and locked it in it seemed to work ok , Taste not great though as I said .

So say for the TI coil that comes with it. Mine reads at .40 as it's rated for. What resistance would you heat that to before locking it in? I've tried tried this and had gold results but it drops back down even when locked. Is that normal do you know?

Sorry , I've no idea ...... I'm completely new to this, only put the Ni coil in yesterday .

Ha no probs. I've locked it in at .44 now and it's vaping much nicer at 530-550 but it's not something I really thought I'd have to do. Apparently between 440 and 500 is were people vape on more expensive devices so I don't know if the TC just isn't great on these or if I'm doing something wrong or mine is faulty.

Is it the .4 coil or the .5 clr coil ?

Either/or , the impression I got from the youtube video was to get the temp up enough for the evic to be reading it as close as possible to it's actual resistance and then lock it in . They are supposed to be at room temperature but my house is bloody freezing over near my vaping gear and pc, my theory is that is why I had to heat it up a bit first . ( 'my theory'..... like I have a clue what I'm on about )

It's the .4 TI head. Whilst chain vaping it stays at .44 after heating it from a reading of .40. I just left it down for 5 mins and it's gone back to .41 despite being locked at .44. I don't think your theory is correct because I've had the Evic Mini a couple of weeks now and the temperature of the house hasn't made any difference to the resistance. My theories are it's either reading the resistance too low and therefore not reaching the temps it thinks it is or it's just not reaching the temps it thinks it is for some other reason. The only thing I'm sure of is that I am not vaping it at the 530f I have it set to right now :/
