Have you any interest in casting your vote about Tipperary GAA.

Forum in > Midwest .....>Tipperary......> Poll now taking place in this thread.

Where should future Tipp GAA forums go?

Keep it in the Tipp forum

    For
Regional forum should perhaps have a thread dedicated to the county's most popular sports
Thread has been relatively popular since its 2010 inception

    Against
Thread could be easily missed by many members who dont navigate to the Tipp forum
    Narrow input base.

    Move to GAA

    For

Wider input base from other counties
Keeping in line with other counties that have their threads listed in GAA

    Against
Thread could descend into chaos more often
Previous thread became a ghost thread
May take adjusting to the new settings

Would this mean that effectively there would be no Tip GAA thread if things went a certain way ?
Would this not be a significant structural change to the GAA forum , ie if every county moved its GAA thread to a regional forum it would impact on the GAA forum, and surely it should be the same structure for every county

If it stays or lives 100% in the regional forum will users then report tip related threads to the GAA mods so they would have to move them to the regional forum. Sounds like a lot of work.

One way or another there will always be a Tipp GAA thread.

It has always been in the Regional Forum. At the moment there is certain demand to have it moved to GAA as many think, like the rest of the counties it would be better placed there.

I'm a Tipp man and I think it should stay where it is. If in the gaa section a lot more outsiders will post. In Tipp we love to criticize our own but god forbid somebody from another county do it. I could envisage chaos. Just check out what happens when outsiders post on premierview.

Football gets very little coverage on current Tipperary thread, I am asking for your vote to have Tipp GAA moved to GAA Forum.

Gonna let the Tipp forum users have their say on this and close the thread.
