As per title... ? Fire guard/ stair gaurd/ corner bumpers (for tables) etc And clear corner bumpers if possible. I've seen these blue ones and really they are not good with the decor!

Ikea do good baby proofing for drawers cupboards etc. which were easy to put in We got table corner covers in mamas and papas, mothercare and elsewhere all of which lasted a couple of weeks before being ripped off by the person they were intended to protect!

Fire guards are hard to get. We could never find a really good one so can't help there. We ended up putting cushions around the grate and got a solid fuel insert.

    Not much help.....sorry!

Argos sell the full fire guards that attach to the wall and go over the full fire place.

Smyths have nursery fire guards for €30, they're great. Also, Baby Dan have a kind of adjustable stairgate that will fit around most fireplaces and is brilliant because you have the gate for access to the fire.

I think the amount of babyproofing you need to do is down to the personality of your baby really. Our fella is 20 months now and we have gotten away with moving anything that isn't a toy out of reach and just using the fireguard, a stairgate on the sittingroom door and the things that block off plug sockets. Our boy was so cautious that by the time he finally took his first steps, he was so steady that he rarely falls over or runs into things so we never needed any corner bumpers etc.
