Cooler fan

I got a new (to me) Coca Cola/Club Orange cooler during the week. Seems to cool fine, just have to have it set towards the Max end of the thermostat.

Problem is, if it is a problem, the fan seems to run continuously, even when the fridge has turned itself 'off'. Do some of them do this, or have I got a slightly duff one.

Don't want it to burn it out, or end up with Venison Jerky from the fan being on constant.

    Cheers J.

When it's switched on the fan will run all the time to circulate the cold air within the cooler.
The compressor will start up and turn off as the temperature drops down to the thermostats setting. This should be set at about 1- 3 degree C.
And keep a thermometer inside to check what the temperature is

Cheers, this is the part I wasn't sure about. Didn't know if it should go on and off with the thermostat, or run continuously.
