Hi all, perhaps you'd be interested to hear about the Dublin honey show in Rathgar on Sat 7th Nov.

There's a lecture on at noon about how to start keeping bees.

The show's open to the public - the €2 entry fee goes to a charity. Basically it's like an agricultural show but for beekeepers - as well as the competitions there will be Dublin honey for sale, and a craft fair. The 2 excellent lectures on beekeeping are both suitable for beginners.

    Detail here: http://dublinbees.org/meet-the-beekeepers/the-dublin-honey-show/
