    Hi,

My 2005 VW golf was stolen today and recovered, it was stolen with the keys which have not been recovered.

I have a spare set but the guards have advised me to change the keys so the stolen set cannot be used.

Is it possible to change the programming of the key I do have so the other key will not work,or does anyone know what the cheapest method would be

You can re adapt the key to the immobiliser cancelling out the other key, which won't allow the other key to start the car, but the other key will still be able to open the doors

Do you know is that much cheaper than getting a fresh set of keys? I wonder can it be done by an indy with a vag com
