Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bournemouth are poor and with our defensive record we should be going for the win.

I suppose a lot will depend on what Kane does with the chances he gets.

    Lloris
    Walker Vertz Toby Rose
    Dier Ali
    Lamela Erickson ??? Nidgie?
    Kane

Mason back fit for this game.We badly need to win this, must start putting away our chances especially Kane.

    Lloris
    Walker Vertz Toby Rose
    Dier Ali
Dembele Lamela Ericksen( he is most effective from left)
    Kane

Lloris should pass the ball to defenders all the time. I am not impressed with his kicking technique. Majority of time the ball goes to opposition and put us under pressure unnecessarily.

Also , too much pressure on Kane now, we really missed the trick by not signing another striker.

Please no Townsend (one trick pony if you think step overs are a trick). His goal/ratio is appalling and does not track back at all.

Another awful performance, if we were playing a decent side we would be murdered.

  • Registered Users Posts: 599 ✭✭✭09_09_09

We are playing like a relegation team. No cohesion, no formation, two headless chickens (full backs) running around. Luckily Bourn. are worse than us.

It's hilarious how difficult to please you are. How many goals would we have to be winning by for not to be so negative? Constant criticism all the time, you must be exhausted.

I used to appreciate Walkers "direct" and committed style of play even with the odd howler. He is on absolute autopilot these days - dreadful

Nope if we play well I will praise them, we played poorly first half. The second half has been much better IMO. The scoreline does not always reflect how well or badly a team has played. Great to see Harry back in the goals :)

Yes will hopefully be the boost he needed, he will bag a goal at home to Villa guaranteed :)

Still joint lowest goals against (8 - City/Arsenal/United) and joint lowest games lost (1 - Leicester)

We have not been as strong defensively in the last 10 years. I don't think we have even hit form yet up front. When we do this season could get very interesting.

When is Son back, we could be a serious threat when he returns. Nidgie will improve too as he gets used to things

Physioroom - as reliable as any of these websites (not very) says he's back Nov 2. See here.

Typical, Villa sack their manager before the Spurs match. Hopefully they won't have anyone in by next Monday.
