Hi I am getting a new dishwasher,
looking at two different bosch models, the dearer model is 220 euro dearer
uses a lot less water, has stainless steel tub, and a vario drawer and quieter etc.
I am not sure is the dearer model worth the money, and im not too sure about the vario drawer, does it mean you have to place each fork/knife into a slot or can you just spread a bunch out? anyone with any tips please comment, thanks.

The Blomberg UK website states that ...

With over 125 years of production and expertise in the appliance and metal industries, Blomberg is recognised as a German quality brand in home appliances

What they omit to mention is that in 2002 the Blomberg brand was purchased by appliance manufacturer Arcelik which means that when you buy a Blomberg, you're buying a Beko.

    Just so you know.

well beko is parent company but the blomberg is better built better spec and a lot more reliable . i know ppl that have blomberg appliances and swear by them i suppose as a relative new name in appliances in ireland it will take time for the reputation to grow

We have a narrow (45 cm) Bosch dishwasher with the vario drawer and I think it's great.
Yes, you have to put cutlery in one by one into the designated slots ...but if you group the cutlery on the way in, it means you can take it out in one go ..all the forks together, all the knifes, etc which makes putting the cutlery away a doddle.

The major advantage is though that the lack of a traditional cutlery basket in the lower drawer frees up a lot of space. Together with the height adjustable second drawer this means that we can was all our pots and pans in the dishwasher as well. We haven't done a single hand wash since we got this dishwasher.

We're only a household of two though ...with more people there might not be room for pots and pans, vario drawer or not ...you'll have to figure that one out for yourselves.
