Looking at Nissan Navara D22 (old shape). I see on a few forums that the engine in these are prone to throwing a con rod through the block due to stretched con rod bolts. Its a very well known problem on these engines apparently. The ones Im looking at have approx 150K miles on them. Im thinking that these vehicles have had the problem and been fixed. Question is how would I know if this problem has been taken care of on the ones I look at? Or would it be better to stay well clear of these pickups due to engine problems?
