    Hi all, First time posting.

So the younger bro is in college, needs this for assignments and for playing a few games.

    1. What is your budget?

€700 or less (with emphasis on less)

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer?

    Gaming, Movies, Assignments

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows?

    No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer?

    No

    5. Do you need a monitor?

No, but if you could suggest a cheap place to get a 21" +/- monitor, I'd appreciate it.

5a. If yes, what size do you need.

21" ish, again not in this price.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Speakers

    Wireless Card.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking?

    Not at this stage.

    8. How can you pay?

    Any

    9. When are you purchasing?

    Today

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based?

    No need.

You'll get a decent i5 build with a gtx 960 for about 650 but can go for a lesser card and an i3 bring ir down to around 550.

I think the german amazon is usually the best value for monitors but ocasionally the spanish will beat them. You can use this site to compare the prices on all the eu amazons and just search 21 inch monitor:

Beefed up the processor, and swapped out a 250GB ssd for this 1TB HDD and .12 TB SSD combo.

Thing is, I really need to bring it down to 700 bunts if I can,

    What would you drop/Sacrifice here?

    You've 16gb RAM there.

Get a Corsair or BeQuiet PSU

    I'd drop back to the i3, or else get a GTX950 or R9 380

For 90% of gaming, i3+960 will be better. Unless he's doing really CPU heavy stuff the i3 is plenty for his college work.
