Hey guys. I posted up a while ago about buying a Volvo S60, I just have the money together for that now, but I'm starting to have second thoughts. I'm still young, with no kids and the Volvo seems very "grown up" for me. Hence I've had a bit of a re think and would like something a bit more fun for a couple of years.

I have general enough requirements. Diesel probably as I will be looking down the barrel of a longish motorway commute next year. Preferably relatively new, 09-10. I'd also like it to be "fun". I know that's a bit of a grey area, and I don't necessarily equate fun to driving fast, just something that's nice to drive. Ideally 1.6 or bigger for the commute. O and budget of 10-12 k. Anyone any nice suggestions?

    Thanks

    DK
