Water tank, immersion pump and ... "roaring" pipes

    Hi,

I've got solar tubes installed on the roof. All happy, savings can be seen and feel.
Issue is that since then, the gravity pressure feed on the cold/hot water for taps and bath/shower has been massively reduced.

Installed an immersion pump in the attic water tank, works like a dream but...is like living in a train station with a steam locomotive every time I use the taps. Particularly one set of taps that are "whooshing" that I am afraid to open it.

    So…I need your input...

I’m going to install in a dedicated area a new 225L water tank, from Chadwick (less than €150 inc) and moving the new pump and controller.

The tank will be installed outside the home, inside the kitchen roof, on a new 2-3 lengths of wooden frames to support the new load. Those new joists on a set of anti-vibration rubber bushed from this guys h e r e maybe or from an auto car parts store. Doubled on the bottom, as a safety net with anti-vibration rubber mat.

Pump hanging on the new structure, not touching anything except some rubber anti-vibration bushes. Then, it will be surrounded in a sound / acoustic pads and boards from these guys h e r e .

One air vent for air circulation and properly closed, sealed and locked.

My issue is, here…as per attached photo, I need a plumber to validate / connect:

    Main water to new tank.
New pump and controller to tank and then…split the main water pipes from within the kitchen and connect to tank and to pipe going up in the attic.
Install two new pressure tanks / vesseles,60 litres each from these guys h e r e , each one for cold water and for hot water. Documentation h e r e.

Pay attention to one way flowing valve on each circuit as I don’t want the pressure / flow to go back and “short-circuit” any of the cold/water circuits.
The new bought today 2 pressure adjusting valves will be installed on the both circuits, cold and hot water feeding up in the attic existing connections.
Tweaked to a right level of pressure until noise disappeared and pressure acceptable, best compromised.

    I've attached:

-the hand made diagram for the new system:

-a photo of the current provisional under pressure / stress of the pump:

    366437.jpg

-the attic water tank feeding two pipes for cold and hot water.

    Does it make sense P L E A S E !?
    Thanks in advance.

Why not install a pressure reducing valve on the setup you have with a expansion vessel before it.

You need to support that setup with something proper. What's probably happening I'd the pump is touching bottom or side of the tank and making noise. There quiet normally.
