Burning taste Aspire BVC

Hi guys recently bought a new Aspire Nautilus Mini in Glasgow and was loving it for the first few weeks, when I had to buy my first pack of 5 replacement atomisers it was all good I was smoking Cuttwood Bird Brains 12mg.

Came back to Ireland and had to changed atomisers again but I went back to and old favourite of juices Black Label What are melons (great juice btw) 18mg not my usual 12mg.

Since then Ive been getting a horrible lack of flavour and a dry stinging taste with every new coil I use, dont think its the juice because it happens with my Comic Fog Kryptonite 6mg flavour too

Far as I know I was using the same Aspire Nautilus BVC coils as I used in Glasgow so I really have no idea what is going on...

Even gave the hardware a good clean today in warm water and let it airdry, changing the coil afterwards; it reduced the problem a little bit but I cant help thinking I bought a dodgey pack of coils.

    Any thoughts?

Aspire BVC coils are now made using cotton, they used to made with a type of ceramic fibre. They have being producing the new versions the last 3 or 4 months and may just be making it into vendors stock now. Can't really say if this is the cause of your issue though, shouldn't be really but you may need to adjust the wattage to suit the newer coils.

    +1
Try dropping some juice into the coil directly as well

Also if you have burned the cotton the coils are ruined

i have the same just with aspire K1
new tank fine 2-3 weeks straight great work.
once bought replacement coils getting the burning taste. (thought oh well maybe bad pack)
    bought another one.
    Same thing
Did the same careful wash and that did reduce the burning taste-smell but still no enjoyable.
At the moment considering changing tank to something else not sure what yet.. Still in research....
Very disappointed with them as its just feels that they started making bad quality coils.

Davkie im using kangertech mini & recommended volts by the coils between 4.2 and 5

When you put a new coil in you should for the first few times you vape on it run it at a low voltage - 4.2 to start with may burn the cotton if it is not fully absorbed with juice.
Once the cotton is burned it is pretty much done.

It's critical to prime the coils with a few drops, you know for certain then that there will be liquid on the Cotten next the coil and preventing it from burning. Also agree with lower watts for new coils.

Yeah if you've burned the cotton at all that's it.

I have exactly same issue, I got an Nautilus in the states with a pack of coils and was getting just over 2 weeks, I have bought 2 packs here and I am lucky to get 3 days. I also use cuttwood.

I am also using a Kanger sub and loving it also ordered a lemo 2 to try from FT.
