25-30k Diesel 1.9-2.2

I've been looking into getting a new car. Some of the main options I've been considering are BMW 316-320d, 520d. Seat Leon FR. Audi A4. Honda Accord.
What would people suggest? I do approx 30km a year

Well I drive a good lot, commute to work and down the country regulary probably 30-40kms a year. Currently driving a 1.9Tdi Leon but want a move up. Leaning towards the Accord a few days ago cos of the cheaper running costs ie repairs in the future etc but both the Merc and BMW are a different class

Thanks for the insight, I hadn't thought of a few of them. I like VW cc and the Jag but only mid 20s so maybe a bit too young for one.

I'm currently selling a 2006 Leon TDi 110000miles. New enough timing belt etc. Any thoughts on what I should be accepting for it. It's in really good shape Seat garage offered 4.5k vs 25k car and Fitzpatricks 4k vs a 30k car. I was hoping for 4k cash but don't think it's gonna happen. Paid 4.5k back in March

I'd look at the cost to change and forget about what they're giving you for the car tbh . It'll give you a much better idea of how good the deal is.

You'd be better off selling the Leon privately, being diesel with relatively low mileage for the year should make it easy enough to sell. You would also get a better deal on a newer car if you have no old car to trade in.

Those photos are pretty poor and wouldn't entice me to go view that car. You need to give the car a good cleaning, take better and more detailed photos of both the inside and outside. I'd also drop the bit about the trade in value as it has little relevance to a private buyer. Advertise it on donedeal, it's where the car buying footfall is, adverts is just full of people who want to swap rather than spend money.
