rusty setter?

    well lads I have a 4 year old setter but haven't been able to hunt him the last two years he was a great dog but is now walking over birds and only locking on the odd bird should I retrain on the wing or bring him with another dog or what. any advice welcome. sound

    How did you exercise him the last 2 years?

    to be honest haven't been able to do much with I've walked him in the fields when I could but the ould lad had him running around everyday. not many birds where I live but iv joined a club with an abundant of bird so hopefully he will come around
