Dont know about the car park but think this is a great idea and hope it's done right. It's gorgeous out there, and I'm always surprised at how many people don't even Know it's there!

Great description of the gardens in the tender document

"Patrick Taylor in his Gardens of Britain and Ireland describes Mount Congreve as 'one of the most extraordinary gardens of the 20th century'. The sea is only five miles away and the Gulf Stream and the estuary have a moderating influence on the micro- climate of the estate. These natural advantages combined with the quality and unimaginable scale of the design and planting have created "gardening at a scale rarely seen since the 18th century", as the Massachusetts Horticulture Society said in 2002 when awarding it the President's Choice Medal for a Great Garden of the World, 2001; further declaring that it "revealed breathtaking sights and scents".
