Will I be able to apply for the water conservation grant on time?

    Hey there,

Since I had not received the Water Conservation Grant I called the department of social protection today asking what the story was.
Apparently, Irish Water had not forwarded my details to them despite I had registered with them in April so I called Irish Water today and sorted that out.

The problem is that , according to the person who helped me on the phone, my details will get to the Dept. of Soc. Protection this Friday and after that they will send me the letter with the TIN, etc. next week.

The closing date for applications for the 2015 Water Conservation Grant is 22 October 2015, i.e, tomorrow. Will I be able to apply for the grant given that my details will not get to the DSP until Friday? The Irish Water representative told me I'm still on time, but according to the DSP website it does not seem so.
    Can anyone clarify that

    Cheers.

I got a call from Irish Water on Thursday (15th) after I made a complaint that they had lost my details in 2014. They were forwarding my details on to Department of Social Protection then and said I would receive my letter in time for the 22nd October 2015 deadline. Still awaiting my letter. Hope it comes tomorrow.

    Hi skouu and Paul4As,

Thanks to you both for contacting us.

If a customer receives correspondence from the Dept. of Social Protection after today's deadline, they will still be apply to apply for this year's Water Conservation Grant payment.

If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to let us know.

    Kind regards,
    Amy.

As Amy says...the deadline of today will not affect those who details are late getting to DSP from Irish Water.
Irish Water send details in large batches to DSP. Looks like my details will be in that last batch being sent today or tomorrow, with an expected arrival date of my letter being sometime next week after the bank holiday.

Still awaiting my letter from DSP.
Has anybody whose details were being sent from Irish Water to DSP in the last batch 2 weeks ago received their DSP letter yet?
My Group Water Scheme payment was due at the end of October and I am still awaiting my €100 to contribute to it.
