This is new to me, just want to warn others.
The fake tracking site I was directed to was ws-shipping.com there's probably others.
Package appeared to progress from China to Ireland, even spending some time in Irish customs, and was released from customs to local sorting office just as purchase protection was running out. Luckily I raised a dispute with the seller within time. The seller has very good feedback rateing, I understand they offer refunds for 5 stars.

Use 17 track, it's the best, doesn't matter what tracking site you use once you have a tracking number thats ok.

Yes 17 track is great but it doesn't help when the seller doesn't send the package at all. Whereas ws-shipping will show the parcel making progress across the world, even showing it spending a few days in Irish customs, finally showing in your local sorting office. Then you never recieve it, but you will blame anyone but the sender.
Also the timing of the tracking shows your parcel in your local sorting office just as purchase protection period is running out. You might not bother raising a dispute if you "know" that the parcel has made it that far.

ah yes, best thing here is to file a dispute unless you actually have the item physically in your hand.

Dispute just settled in my favour but the seller tried her best to get me to withdraw my dispute before settling.
Now seller has the cheek to ask for five star review when I get my refund. Started this thread to warn others.
