Its for a "shift chargehand" position.
Interviews will be in a few days.

Jist looking for some internal interview sample questions .?
    Relevant to a chargehand position

And any experience of internal interview's would be greatly appreciated...
    Thanks

Internal interviews usually follow the same standard as external the only difference is that you will have more detailed information/experience of the company at hand. Do you know the style of the external interview process for the charge hand position? I am assuming it is a supervisory role so I would do an internet search looking for sample interview questions for supervisor and I would practice my answers using the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method even if the interview is not competency based, the STAR helps you focus your answers.

I hope it all goes well for you!!

    Thanks

The first internal interview I ever had went really well and I got the job. The second internal interview I had went absolutely terribly and I got the job.

The main difference between the two interviews was that I didn't know anyone on the panel for the first interview but I had worked very closely with one of the panel for the second interview.

Knowing somebody worked both for and against me. He was the reason I performed badly - not because of anything he did but because I was overly cautious about claiming credit so even in a scenario where I might have been the driving force behind a project I was reluctant to claim any credit for it for fear of overstating my achievements and being called out on it. It worked for me because there weren't really any other candidates for the job and he was able to reassure the other interviewer (who was to be my boss) that I was well able for the job.

I suppose the one piece of advice I would take out of that to give to you is that if like me you're cautious about taking credit for anything to spend some time before the interview working out what things you can take credit for and if in doubt not to understate what you've achieved when it comes to demonstrating how you can do the job that you're applying for.

    Good luck!
