99 avensis 84 thousand when the belt was last done.there is 144 thousand up on it now. It recommends you do it at 60 thousand. Every thing in the car is perfect and working great.
How much leeway do i have? Or do i absolutely have to get the belt changed right away?

How long, timewise, since it was changed?

It seems you have 20K more to go, if my maths is right. Is it 5 years since last change?

If the car is running fine, for the sake of 300 euro I'd get it done!

people dont understand its a perishable rubber belt,no matter what the mileage is years come into play also, anything else driven with the belt may also need replacing.

oils or coolant may also shorten its life if on belt.
