Is this a good value laptop?

    Any laptop can do "multimedia". Unless you're talking gaming etc, then you'll be fine.

    But the spec looks good. Screen is a nice size and res, processor is good, RAM is fine, hard disk is large. And it has a dedicated graphics card (although I'm not well read on what is good and what isn't these days!)

    Good spec, good price. The laptop being massive is the only issue, which may not be important to you at all.

    Thanks for the reply. Need a big laptop for work which is fine. ( And something that will run company of heroes 2 on the side as far as games are concerned ). Now I just need to persuade the bossman.

    The graphics card is pretty crap, will struggle with COH2 even on low settings and lowest resolution. Check out PCspecialist for good gaming capable laptops.
