Lidl Espresso Machine

I've just bought the Lidl Retro Espresso Coffee Machine and there's a part in the box that's not shown on the parts list, and not mentioned in the instructions. It's a plastic insert that fits into the coffee 'holder'....it has two small spouts on it, and it sits exactly into the holder, the two spouts slot into the metal spouts in the holder. I've a feeling it's an extra that's used to hold coffee sachets in place (I'm assuming there's a coffee sachet available for this machine?) but I'd appreciate confirmation from anyone who has this machine. Thanks in advance!

OK, it's the plastic insert at the bottom of the pic. All the other parts are shown and explained in the manual, but no mention at all of the insert with the spouts!

It's just a part of the portafilter, it doesn't do ese pods, this is the attachment for that espresso machine that does the ese pods:

Thanks, I tried it without the twin spout plastic insert, no good, so I put the insert in and it works fine. Just weird that there's no mention of it in the instructions, and no sign of it in the exploded parts view. Just the flat disc. Anyway, thanks again.

    Hey!
I just bought one of these today too. Mine keeps leaking every time I try pull a cup. Not sure what the story is, quantity of coffee is not the issue as I tried it with zero coffee :/
    Could be a seal issue?
    Anybody else have issues?
    Cheers

Mine leaked until I put the twin-spout plastic insert in (before the flat disc)...see my pic above (attached to my earlier post).
My problem is getting a good cup of coffee, I've tried one scoop, and now two scoops of Lidl 100% Arabica, it's still tastes a bit watery. Anyone recommend a good coffee for this machine?

Jeez. I didn't get that extra part haha

Not sure what to do, the coffee isn't great coming out of it and the leak is a pain in the ass, bit messy. Might have to bring it back.

I've always found Lidl really good for returns and refunds etc.....at least down my way.

Ha, they seem to expect returns around my way, whenever I buy any non food item the person at the checkout is adamant that I keep receipt just in case.
