Replaced windscreen

    Hi,

Stone came through the windscreen last week, called the insurance and they arranged for a replacement to be fitted which was done today by a reputable company and a very nice chap. I was told not to drive the car for an hour after the work was done (finished by about 1pm) and not to wash he car for 2-3 days, all good there.

Coming home this evening at about 6.30 I noticed on the motorway that I can hear more turbo whistle then before, directly below the windscreen and yes, I know it's on the far side of the firewall!!! I let the window for a fag and then noticed that with the window down it sounds like it was and again when I got home I revved the car and from the outside it sounds the same as before......I listen to things for a living so my ear is trained to listen out for something odd, that and I know my car, I know when its sounding as it should and when something is iffy.

Does the sealer they use take a day or two to go off or could somewhere have been missed?
The only thing that changed between the drive on the way in and the drive on the way home was the windscreen and again with a window down it's like old times but with the window up there's a lot of "turbo only" whistle.

I've called up the crowd that did the work when I got home so I'm hoping they'll call me in the morning but I have a feeling they'll say it's not their problem......

    Any advice at all?

    Cheers!
