    Do you watch them?
They appear all over the journal, facebook etc

I am all for the freedom of information and think they should be made available to the general public its just I personally prefer not to see somebody being dragged to their death so opt not to click on the links

    So what's your point?

They are never on The Journal by the way.

If the links are appearing on Facebook, that means someone else in your house is watching gore online.

He means they're showing up on his facebook feed not advertisements

I heard all sorts of excuses for watching them, owe it to the victims is a particularly bizzare one.
The few bits I've seen I'll never forget, and those were pretty tame.

    My point is -
When reading any news website, facebook, Vice, etc if a link appears that documents somebody's death - Isis, cop shootings in the states etc, car accident, fight etc.
Knowing that the footage actually shows somebody's last living seconds do you click on that link?

Oddly most ME media outlets show everything where western media censors a lot of stuff out of broadcasts and reporting

Very rarely do I watch them.

Tbh, I don't think it's good they even can be viewed

A Danish teenager stabbed her own mother to death after becoming radicalised by watching Islamic State videos of beheadings with an Islamist boyfriend twice her age.

but I'd rather live in a society where they are available than a society where someone else can censor what I am allowed to watch.

I'd like to see their leader AL Baghdadi get beheaded apart from that I detest gore videos.
I can understand how people in the middle east have become radicalized but Islamic state have gone beyond reasonable or understandable revolt against idiotic western foreign policy. Sadly there will undoubtedly be more innocent "apostates" killed in front of cameras by these animals in the name of their wapred view of Islam.

    Glazers Out!

Its amazing that had you asked that young danish girl X months back - would you ever kill somebody she probably would of said No.

Introduce some brainwashing and her answer is totally different

Its amazing how little time it takes to break somebody down to the point where they are willing to do the obsolete opposite of something they said they would never do.

Just reading the transcript of the "Dagestan Massacre" was enough for me. I've no need to see it.

I'm sure there have, but a kid screaming for his mother while his head is removed by knife is bad enough for me.

Sidenote: a lot of attention is paid to Islamic extremists on this subject and rightly so, but does anyone find it absolutely mental that stuff no less extreme and just as gory and ****ed up happens in Mexico on film in the absence of anything as serious as religious fervour?

Never watch any of those videos.

The woman who died on the escalator was the only one I watched and I immediately regretted that.

The mexican drug cartels are probably worse that any ISIS or Islamic video
Again on FB, prob 203 years while back - video of some guy being beheaded with a chain saw.

click on the link not really knowing what to expect (It was before these death videos were 'mainstream' for want of a better word_
2-3 seconds in I realised it was for real and just stopped viewing before things got to the point no never being able to forget.

Again all for freedom of information but nobody really needs to see those type of videos.

But you do live in a society where someone else censors what you watch. Everything is available on the internet somewhere if you want to find it but what appears on your TV screen is definitely censored so too what is published in your print media.

I remember aljazeera who had no issues showing westerners been butchered by alqueda in Iraq a few years back ,suddenly blocked out one Italian guy getting shot ,
He had been taken hostage was was shown with a hood over his head and his hands tied ,
Managed to free his hands and removed his hood and confronted his executioner head on saying this is how an iItalian dies or something similar
