That's what I was thinking, but you know this country.

The country has laws regulating the use of the road, probably better to know these than rely on boards.ie.

I have driven Cork to Killarney a good few times and I'm a learner. The road out of Cork (near Ballincollig) is a 120km zone for a small stretch, but not classed as a motorway. So it's fine. As far as I know! Correct me if I'm wrong.

I go through Macroom and Ballvourney. There are some sharp windy roads between these two places, so take it handy! I wouldn't advise going unaccompanied because as there are often checkpoints near Macroom, and it's illegal :)

N22 is a national road and not motorway (M) so is fine.
