Car knocking

    Hi I went to drive my car today and just as I was taking off there was a loud knocking coming from under the car it sounds like it's coming from back wheels. I took off wheels to check if anything stuck or rubbing but nothing . Even when I move wheel one at a time nothing but when I put the weight of the car back down and drove a few hundred metres it started to knock again. Anyone any idea of cause. It's a 00 corolla.Thanks

    If it happened all of a sudden, it could be a broken spring. It might only be the top loop, so not visible at a glance. Get a torch and have a look up at them.

    Forgot to say that when I pick up speed it stops knocking

    Check wheel nuts are all tight
