Site feedback is the wrong forum - I'll move this to Personal Issues.

Walk in front of him nonchalantly and then drop your books or magazines or whatever you're holding accidentally on purpose, and then when he helps you pick them up, thank him and then subtly mention something about whatever it is that those things are that you like, which he also likes.

Bit of a cliche but sure these things become cliches cause they work.

    Best of luck!

This could go very wrong!! In films it's coreographed so everyone is in the right place at the right time....

OP, how do you know what he likes etc? Are you in a class together? Does he know you at all already?
You do need to get into a situation where he notices you and where you can get talking to him just maybe not dropping your books!

It sounded like a great plan to me, then again I'm a hopeless romantic :)

Say hello to him and, if possible, find something to compliment him on.
