What to wear with this dress?

I recently got a dress from french connection as a gift, but I have no idea what colour of cardigan/blazer/coverup would go well with it - any suggestions? Apparently I can't post links, but it's the Bonita Spring Stripe Skater Dress! Any ideas are appreciated :-)

I think you could wear a little tan jacket to match the boots. Or black, ditto.

Hmm...in the photo, the model's little "boots" match her hair....
