C5 in high spec with leather seats, cruise control, A/C etc...
2006, 200,000km with fresh NCT for over a year.

How much realistically could such car be worth?

Near 10 year old French cars are almost sale proof in this country. Advertise it at €2k, and take any offer over €1500.

I would have thought 1500 too. You often see them in bangernomics.

just by googling it seems a little higher, for a 2006 with 100k miles on it and a 1.6hdi ranging from 2k and over 4k:eek:

That's what they are advertised for, but question is if they really sell at that ;) ?

People can ask any price they want, doesn't mean they'll get it or even near it. If you want to sell a car then it needs to be priced sensibly. No one would pay €4K for a 10yr old C5 with 200k on the clock.

A dozen (€1200). Spec. doesn't matter on something that old.

    Are you sure?
If I was to buy 9 year old car, I'd probably be happy to pay extra few hundred to have full spec instead of nothing.
    But maybe I'm just strange.

Bought top high spec diesel estate with 120k miles 2004 leather electric everything. It was advertised for 1500 then 1300 then 1000 finally 950 my hand was bitten off with 650 offer.

Few want a French car for good reason

Yes I'm sure. A better spec. might make an old car easier to sell or more attractive to a potential buyer, but it won't make the car any more valuable.

p.s. Yes you are strange :D

How did it work out for you?

Fly around with the only expenses being 2 tyres last 3 or 4 months
