Weird issue with EOS700D

I'm having the most bizarre issue with my camera-- not really anything you'd call a fault or real problem, more of a sort of glitch, but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced or solved it.

Basically, my landscape view shots are sometimes being shown in portrait view in preview on the camera, and are saving as portrait view and showing this way even when lifted off the card onto the computer. It takes literally five seconds to rectify the issue in Photoshop, so if it can't be sorted out I can easily live with it, but I'd love to know why this is happening.

If I take a series of shots in landscape view, sometimes one of them will display as portrait where the others won't. It seems to happen mostly when I have used the magnify tool on Live View to check if tiny details are in focus (I do a lot of macro lens work), but the camera is never held in portrait style at any time. In fact, the camera is on a tripod the whole time, and never moves an inch!

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it something I'm doing, or is there a setting I can disable to prevent it? It's a tiny thing, but it really is bugging me terribly.
