What camera app do you use?

I used to love my HTC One camera - so simple and did all the basics really easily. I liked several of the filters and it was really easy to switch between them

Now I have a OnePus one, the stock camera is OK, but I'm wondering are there other cameras that are better? I used an iPhone the other day and I know this is blasphemy but the camera app was very good. IS there anything similar for Android?

What cameras do you guys use and why?

Android/Google camera is pretty poor IMO.

Sony's app is pretty good. Sometimes you'll find ports of OEM apps. "LG Camera Pro" from the app store is decent too. Right now I'm using Oppos app (on an Oppo phone, but not their ROM) and its pretty nice. Not a huge number of filters though.

Get the Oppo camera, it's developed for the same Sony camera on the OnePlus One and Oppo Find

Yeah I had this one before, it's pretty good - handy to be able to add the apps like filters and beauty etc.

Just wondering if there are any others worth looking at?

I doubt you'll find better. Sony did not release the source code for the camera so you have no camera 2.0 API to get the full use of the hardware. That Oppo camera is developed for full use of the camera hardware

No noticeable difference with pictures but a major improvement with video. Standard camera app has a hard time trying to focus with full quality video but "OpenCamera" gives great results.
