Bath flow rate vs. sink flow rate?

    Hi folks,

I have a sink & bath side by side in the same room.
Both fed by water tank in the attic. No pump. 7 year old home.
Why is the flow of water coming out of the bath mixer tap only half of that which flows from the sink mixer tap?
Is this most likely due to the taps restricting the flow differently?

You would usually find that the water will flow stronger from the bath taps than the basin taps due to the larger pipe diameter.
If in your case it is the other way around, I suggest that the strainer / aerator on the spout is blocked, take it out and check.
